Google today introduced a new feature that displays search results as you type words in the search box. They call this feature Google Instant and it’s now live on google.com homepage.
If you prefer to use the classic version of Google, click the link next to Google’s search box that says -- “Instant is on” and turn it off. If you are a slow web connection, Google will automatically turn off Google Instant for you.
Google Instant works on Firefox 3+, Safari 5+, IE 8 and Google Chrome 5+. It is currently enabled only for desktops but Google says a mobile version is coming soon. To learn more, check Google's support page.
