I recieved this email on Sunday concerning the post below (with his picture removed):
Hello Bruce,First, let me say I think you have an excellent website that helps customers analyze the credibility of different websites on the internet, and provide other useful content. However, sometimes it doesn't always work out well for everyone. ha. ;-) I opererated AtlantaInvestorNetwork.com for 2-3 years in which people could opt-in to the email list and receive free real estate property alerts. When someone clicks to unsubscribe, they are automatically unsubscribed.... making the article at http://outhouserag.typepad.com/outhouserag/2007/11/trent-smith-geo.html surprising to me.I do'nt know if we can have the whole article removed b/c of free speech and all... and, that guy must not have hit the unsubscribe link because you get removed when you do that.... but the Image of me on that page is copywrited and owned soley/not to be reproduced. The link to it is:
[Image deleted]It would be ideal to at least get the image removed since that image is indeed my property. If you cannot remove the article I understand... I have not checked my rights as far as that part goes.I really don't want to have to start sending off attorney letters to get the picture owned by myself removed, so if you could please remove it. I'm a business owner too and hate when people get too overboard with this kind of stuff.... so I'm just shootin' you an emailHope all is well.Regards,
Trent Smith
For over a year now I have received real estate investor spam from Trent Smith with so-called deals on very low-end property in the Atlanta area. On 2 different occasions I have used his website “SafeUnsubscribe” link asking him to cancel his spam that he sees fit to send me 3 -4 times a day with no luck or response.
So if you are in the market to buy bargain-priced properties in the Atlanta GA area avoid Trent Smith or be spammed apparently for LIFE! You've been warned! His mugshot is on the right.
His cheesy website: http://www.atlantainvestornetwork.com/TryForFree.asp
Jlamar, sorry but Trent is a spammer. I still get his emails. He may or may not have good deals but that has nothing to do with his spamming me. I've never gave him my email in the first place.

Trent Smith is NOT A SPAMMER.
I'm not sure what you did wrong, but when I unsubscribed, I never recieved an email from him again. The only reason I unsubscribed was because I was not ready to take down all the great deals he had. He gives specific instruction to send an email to info@trent's website.com to cancel your membership and also to ask any questions or concerns.
When I did that, his team was very responsive. They tried to present me with a wonderful offer, but I turned it down because I wasn't ready.
Well, I'm ready now, and that's why I was looking for his website and I came across this and just wanted to set the record straight. He has good deals and he and his brother Doug Smith are awesome! That's why I'll be getting back on board, so I can get involved.
That's just my 2 cents. Nobody asked, but I felt the need...

With all the people getting killed on Atlanta's roads every year, why can't Trent Smith be one of them?
