These photo's are a persons eye vision of what happened. My sister and her family left Orange,Tx.They are in Longveiw now.No one is giving information on the condition that. She would like to have info.If someone could help me help her I would be thankful. My heart is torn for this country.I lived in Monroe,La as a child I have great memory of the byou.

I am also from the Orange county area. I would like some information as to what we are arriving back to. The news covers only from Galveston then skips over to New Orleans. They are not covering any of the area inbetween the two. It is very disturbing to not know what you are coming back HOME to. No one is giving any information: if anyone is in the Bridge City area please e-mail ( me to let me know the extent of the damages. Thanks and God Bless!

I would like to get some jpegs of the devastation from and including Hackberry south on Hwy. 27 to and including Holly Beach. I'm doing a series of art pieces (ceramic and drawings). I was in Houston with the Red Cross on Sept 24 and was at Holly Beach a week later. Saw the devastation and started to photograph. Pictures didn't turn out so I need some to finish out the series. This storm was a trip. Things are slowly getting back to normal here in Lake Charles LA but it is taking a long time. It is difficult for me to think that hurricane season begins again in less than 6 months. Cameron was really devestated by this hurricane. I am just happy that people listened to the warnings and got out. Thank goodness we did not have to deal with alot of death from this one. We had dealt with enough from Katrina.
