I just have a comment towards FEMA. I currently lived at 4520 North Villere St at the time of Katrina. It was a three bedroom home. FEMA gave me 5,545.00 for all of my personal items in my home.I worked for Decatur Hotels Corp. I have five sons. So I appealed their decision because that amount didnt cover half of the things we lost. They told me that we got two feet of water and that was all I was to recieve. I just want everyone to know how unfair and unjust FEMA really is and how much incorrect information they are recieving.Everything in my home was totally destroyed. But the inspector declared my home a disaster.
