We have a home office that we use for my internet business, for a non-profit volunteer program, and for my wife’s job in which she works about 60% of her hours from home. As you can probably imagine our office requires printing, copying, scanning, and faxing. For the past few years we’ve been using our trusted Brother MFC 3820 CN for our all-in-one office equipment, which served use well but does not even come close to the Epson Artisan 700. The Epson Artisan 700 is a beautiful piece of office equipment and at a sleek and compact 15.2 x 17.6 x 5.9 inches looks great on our office desk.
What’s good: Produces Ultra Hi-Definition 6-color prints at blazing fast speeds, 38 ppm, includes a host of high performance features including two paper trays for plain and photo paper. Comes with wireless networking which will allow you can print from anywhere in your house. Allows you to easily customize photos, presentations, cards, calendars and direct CD/DVD printing with the touch of a few buttons. The Artisan 700 even includes Auto Photo Correction, so you get stunning photos every time. Both stylish and elegant, the sleek and compact Artisan 700 includes everything you need to take your creativity to a whole new level. It also comes with a special Epson Preferred program offering a two-year warranty with toll-free support and other exclusive benefits.
If you are in the market for an amazing all-in-one printer you will want to read this review.
What’s bad: Missing a fax machine, but who uses a fax anymore? Wi-Fi set up was more difficult than I expected.
What’s the bottom line: With all the features included in this all-in-one and at this price you can not find a better piece of office equipment on the market for both your professional use and personal use. The Epson Artisan 700 is a beautiful piece of office equipment and at a sleek and compact 15.2 x 17.6 x 5.9 inches looks great on our office desk.

Performance: After just three weeks of using the Artisan 700 in its various capacities--printing, copying, and scanning we are very impressed! In terms of general performance, the Epson Artisan 700 is compact, easy to use, and far exceeded our expectations. All office equipment has a specific purpose and must perform as designed. The Epson Artisan 700 does that and much more with all the easy to use software.
The bottom line is we were satisfied with our Brother MFC 3820 CN all-in-one – until we got our hands on the Epson Artisan 700. Now we realize what we were missing. Now we are looking for new projects to utilize the included software.
What’s Missing: As noted, the ability to fax, but we are faxing less and less because we found that scanning and emailing a document provides a better result.
