Pimlico Race Course is a horse racetrack in Baltimore, Maryland, most famous for hosting the Preakness Stakes. It officially opened in 1870, and held the first Preakness Stakes in 1873. The track is also noted as the home for the match race in which Seabiscuit beat War Admiral in the second Pimlico Special, on November 1, 1938 before a crowd of 43,000.
The Preakness Stakes is a classic 1 3/16 mile (1.91 km) thoroughbred horse race for three-year-olds, held on the third Saturday in May of each year.
On 5/7/2005 the Fifty-to-one longshot Giacomo stunned the Churchill Downs crowd on Saturday, winning the $2.4 million Kentucky Derby by a half length over Closing Argument, with sentimental choice Afleet Alex finishing third. The $102.60 win payoff was the second highest in Derby history will be competing this year at the Preakness.

I was wondering if to go this year to the Preakness Stakes or not. But I think it will be so exciting. A friend has advised me to go and he even recommended me a site where to compare ticket prices because there are some prices which I could not afford. And I think it’s something interesting because this way I will look for the cheapest tickets.
