On August 16, 1977, Elvis died there as a result of an overdose of mixed drugs and complications of severe heart disease. He was buried at Graceland and the estate has become a pilgrimage for Elvis fans across the world.
Graceland operations are open seven days a week, year-round. However, the mansion tour is closed on Tuesdays from November through February, while other attractions and operations remain open. All operations are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and sometimes on New Year's Day. Call for other holiday hours.
