Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Karen Boyter of Baton Rouge snapped the picture of this oak of more than 2 feet in diameter that fell and split a neighbor's house in half. No one was hurt, Boyter says.

St Tammany officials asking people not to return-please refer to st. tammany parish website for updates. If you must go back, please bring all the water and supplies as you can. smaller communities are struggling. help has not reached them yet. st. tammany has not had the safety issues of surrounding areas. I am a fedex employee in California with friends and family in Louisianna. If you are lloking for family members and they had cellphones try to text message them. Text mess are going through.
