It links to Craigslist, mapping area garage sales, and providing the brief summaries that would be featured on their Craigslist postings.
The app user simply performs a search to find the sales in their area or those indicated through the targeted search. Searching can be done using the current location, or such details as the desired zip code and a description of what is being sought after. For example, someone could enter a search for “desks” within twenty miles of their zip code. The engine then scans the text of every listing in the database and spits out the results.
Reviews sound very positive, and at $1.99 US, the app is a pretty good deal. Some complain that there is no way to post your own sale via the app, but posting through Craigslist is certainly no more complicated.
